A ViziMap is a personal web page that you build with the help of the ViziMap Creator^TM software. But it's not just any web page; it's a dynamic publication that links your digital photographs to personalized maps. It is a fun and simple system. A ViziMap offers;

Personalized Maps. Your ViziMap subscription opens the door to an infinite number of maps that you can tailor for your unique story telling. Through our mapping partner, ESRI, we provide you with access to Street and Topographic maps and Satellite and Aerial Imagery at global, regional, local and even neighborhood scales. You choose what type of map you would like and your area of interest and we build you a map.
Digital Photographs. Pictures that you have taken with your digital camera are easily tied to your maps. Your ViziMap maintains links between the pictures and their locations so that together you not only see what happened, but where it happened.
Graphics and Text. No story would be complete without some text descriptions. Your VizMap allows you to sketch on your maps with a variety of graphic and text-based tools so that you can completely tell your stories.

All of these elements are tied together in a ViziMap. And, we offer secure, online storage of your ViziMaps so that you can easily share them with your friends, family and colleagues.

Your ViziMap experience begins with a registration process that lets us know who you are so we can make room for you on our servers. Once registered, you can either test drive the ViziMap service to better see how it works, or purchase a subscription - starting as low as $9.95 and become a full-fledged member of the ViziWorld Community. Your ViziMap Account offers;

Photo linking wizard – Linking your photos to maps is easy and intuitive with the ViziWorld PhotoMappingWizard. The wizard accesses your photo directory, builds and displays thumbnails to help you pick your photos. Once you’ve selected the photos you can rotate, change the display order, and add titles and captions.
Atlas-quality, global map data – ViziWorld provides access to the best global map base in the world through our partner Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI), the world leader in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software.
Unlimited photo uploading and linking – ViziWorld members can upload and link as many photos as they like.
User selectable map extents – With the ViziMap Creator members can search the entire world and select a custom map extent to link their photos.
Map-in-Map^TM capability – Map-in-Map allows members to create index maps that contain one or more detailed maps. For example, you can show all your detailed vacation ViziMaps as links on your vacations world ViziMap.
Map customization – The ViziMap Creator allows members to customize their ViziMap by adding text, drawing colorful graphics, and highlighting areas to enhance their photo map communication.
Unlimited email sharing – ViziMap provides easy and unlimited sharing of ViziMaps through our email server.

Your account provides you with access to the ViziMap Creator^TM software that helps you create maps, attach photos, add graphics and text and publish your ViziMaps on our servers. It also includes access the ViziMap Library that contains great, pre-built maps for select areas around the world (i.e. US States, US National Parks, World Cities, and Regions). The ViziMap Library is growing constantly, based on feedback from our members.

The cost of your subscription covers the fees related to providing access to the global map database of our provider, ESRI and the administrative costs of maintaining your account, storing your ViziMaps and sharing them with your family, friends and colleagues.
